What is Traditional Thai Massage?
Thai Massage is an ancient healing system combining acupressure, Indian Ayurvedic principles, and assisted yoga postures. Thai Massage consists of a series of movements that stretch out the muscles throughout the body’s energy lines and points. Thai massage helps to reduce stress and increase blood circulation, which leads to well-being and can reduce pain in the body.
All massages, prices and durations can be found on the Massage Services page.
What’s the difference between the Thai Massages?
The Traditional Thai Massage uses assisted stretches and pressure points, this helps with flexibility, circulation and can help relieve pain. The Thai Aromatherapy is more similar to a Swedish style massage but is a deeper tissue massage, many often find it more relaxing than the Traditional Thai Massage. All massages, prices and durations can be found on the Massage Services page.
Will Thai Massage ‘fix my bad back’?
While many of our customers find Traditional Thai Massage helps relieve their aches and pains by using assisted stretching positions to relieve tension in the muscles and joints, we are unable to offer any medical advice, if you have any ongoing issues you should always consult your GP.
Can you make me click/crack?
Thai massage stretches the joints to a safe degree to release built-up pressure, this can result in a cracking/clicking sound, however this is not the intention of the massage and we are not chiropractors, if you are just looking for that cracking/clicking of the joints then you should find a registered and reputable chiropractor after first consulting your GP.
