Cancellation Policy – November 2023 Review

We believe we have one of the fairest cancellation policies in the health and wellbeing, allowing you:

  • Free cancellation up to 12hrs before an appointment
  • 50% late cancellation fee up to 1min before the appointment
  • 100% fee for missed appointments.

Similar businesses charge a 100% appointment fee if cancelled within 48hrs, which we consider excessive.

We would like to remind everyone that you can reschedule your appointment online by following the link in your booking confirmation email or by logging in to your online account.

We now send appointment reminders 48hrs, 24hrs and 2hrs before your appointment to give you plenty of notice for your appointment should you need to change/cancel.

We do have a couple of polite notices regarding some additional policy tweaks and requests to help us keep our fair cancellation policy:

  • We are charged a fee by Fresha when an appointment is booked, if you need to reschedule your appointment, please use the link on your email rather than cancelling one appointment and making a new booking right away, this would mean we are charged 2 booking fees, whereas rescheduling will help us keep our prices as fair as possible.
  • Please also try to cancel as early as possible, when cancellations are made less than 48hrs before an appointment we often find it hard to fill them.
  • Going forward, in addition to our cancellation policy, we will also require pre-payment for appointments from anyone who has cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24hrs, notice more than 3 times, within a 6 month period.

Currently no one is charged at the time of booking and only at the end of their appointment, your credit/debit card is only required at the time of booking to reserve the appointment and to backup the cancellation policy, in a similar way to how hotels reserve funds on a card.

If we do ever charge a late cancellation fee and we are able to fill the appointment, we will always refund your late cancellation fee to be fair to everyone.

By keeping us informed in good time when you won’t be able to make an appointment will help to keep our cancellation policy fair and reduce unexpected gaps in our schedule.
