Louth Thai Massage FAQs

Please see some of our most frequently asked questions below…

Louth Traditional Thai Massage -

What is Traditional Thai Massage?

Traditional Thai Massage (or Thai Yoga Massage) is an ancient healing system combining acupressure, Indian Ayurvedic principles, and assisted yoga postures. This massage consists of a series of movements that stretch out the muscles throughout the body’s energy lines and points. Thai Massage can help to reduce stress, which can lead to improved well-being. All massages, prices and durations can be found on the Massage Services page.

What’s the difference between the Thai Massages?

The Traditional Thai Massage uses assisted stretches and pressure points; this helps with flexibility and stress relief. The Thai Aromatherapy is more similar to a Swedish-style massage but is a deeper tissue massage; many often find it more relaxing than the Traditional Thai Massage. All massages, prices and durations can be found on the Massage Services page.

Will Thai Massage ‘fix my bad back’?

While many of our customers find Traditional Thai Massage helps with flexibility and relieves aches by using assisted stretching positions to relieve tension in the muscles and joints, we are unable to offer any medical advice. If you have any ongoing issues, you should always consult your GP.

Can you make me click/crack?

Thai massage stretches the joints and muscles release built-up pressure; this can result in natural joint clicking; however this is not the intention of the massage, and we are not medically trained chiropractors. If you are just looking for that sound of cracking/clicking of the joints, then you should find a registered and reputable chiropractor only after first consulting your GP.

Can I pay by card?

Yes, all major credit and debit cards are accepted. Payment can also be made by cash or gift voucher. See more information on my Payments Page.

Are Thai Massage gift vouchers available?

Limited gift vouchers are sold at certain times of the year. To check availability and more for more information see Gift Vouchers.

Do you have a waiting area, can my friend/partner wait with me during my appointment?

Yes, we have a recliner in our waiting area. We are only a 5min walk from Louth town centre if they want to go for a wander around the excellent range of independent shops and market.

Where are you located?
